about us
We are especially concerned about the environment. Several decades ago it was recognized that emissions from many sources such as acid rain, auto exhaust, coal fired power plants and other industrial facilities was polluting the earth. Good strides were then made over a number of years to steadily reduce real pollution. Unfortunately, that important emphasis has been significantly diluted as the paradigm has now shifted toward futile efforts in an attempt to control the climate. To illustrate the ignorance of certain influential politicians regarding environmental matters, we quote Al Gore - "It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it." Huh?!
We are a group of private citizens who have studied all aspects of climate change for many years. We are comprised mainly of active and retired earth and atmospheric scientists, geologists, geophysicists, engineers and other professionals.
We are concerned about the enormous cost of the numerous activities and projects being proposed, most of which are highly questionable, not to mention the resulting financial benefits to certain corporations and organizations, at taxpayers expense.
We object to the valueless creation of an enormous debt that would be passed on to our children and grandchildren.
We are also concerned about the apparent gross manipulation and falsification of scientific data that has occurred, in an effort to convince authorities that a problem exists. The science is certainly not settled.
We are especially concerned about the one-sided misinformation being fed to our children in school, especially the Al Gore movie, which has been shown to contain a large number of false claims.
We are not financially supported by government or by any industry, but strictly by private donations from like-minded supporters. We are a volunteer group working on an extremely small budget.
